a supportive 501 (C) (3) organization, is to preserve,
interpret, and share the rich history of Columbia as the
First Capitol of the Republic of Texas. In safeguarding historic
landmarks, educating the public, and promoting
understanding of the pivotal events of 1836 and the early
Republic era, we are dedicated to honoring the legacy of those
who shaped Texas Independence. Through stewardship,
Scholarship and community engagement, we are
committed to ensuring that this foundational chapter of Texas
history remains vibrant and accessible for future Generations.
